History Established in 2007. In August of 2007, James Place opened primarily as a wine bar with a limited menu. Since then we have listened carefully to our customers suggestions and have evolved into a bar & bistro. Our priority is to provide our customers with the best overall experience, which includes gourmet food and drinks, great music, a soothing atmosphere and welcoming service.

I'm looking forward to another visit to this wine bar. The patio is great in the warmer months and now that the weather is cooling down, it'll be just as nice indoors. James Place has a mellow ambience, perfect for a date or a night out with a group, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Also - if you're a fan of icewine, theirs is excellent! (I believe it's Inniskillin - definitely Niagara Peninsula appellation.)
