2018 I was in a bad mining accident which was ran over by heavy machinery. Dr Maurer saved my leg . Great Dr.
Great Dr for the surgery but after wards no pain Medicine my daughter who had her hip bone removed wouldn't help us at all just allowedhospital Dr to take care of pain I called his office my self with myconserns no one called me back .
I cannot go into details at this time but I will say Dr. Maurer and his staff have been the greatest orthopedic doctors that I have encountered in WV and I have seen quite a few. I definitely am thankful that I will have the opportunity to walk again and I plan to make this opportunity a reality and work as hard as I can to get back on my feet. Dr. Maurer is a miracle doctor. After my car accident, the trauma doctors in the ER @ CAMC General were trying to amputate my left arm... I'd pulled it out of the socket, broken my ball joint in two & broken my humorous bone in 9 different places. Dr. Maurer performed a surgery where he had to reattach most of the nerves in my arm, insert 17 screws & 1 metal plate to put all of my broken bones back together & do a skin graft where I'd lost so much skin & muscle.
