My appointment was for 3:30pm. I wasn’t seen until 5:00pm, when I was finally called in for X-rays of my knee. I wanted to discuss the possibility of a knee replacement since I had shattered my patella in 2018. Dr. O’Dowd didn’t enter the exam room until 5:20 with his PA. He dictated the results of my X-rays to her, BRIEFLY examined my knee, said I wasn’t a candidate for a replacement. I have CRPS. Dr. O’Dowd was very professional. He explained the procedure and answered my questions. He was responsive to my emails even on weekends. The staff were superb. They were very helpful. I recommend Dr. O’Dowd and his staff.

I was trying to book an appointment this morning at 10:05 a.m. The receptionist was not only unhelpful but extremely rude! She actually yelled at me over the phone when she didn't hear my birthdate. I can't rate the doctor but he needs to retrain his staff at the USC Keck Arcadia location. This is not only a disservice to people seeking help but a complete embarrassment for the hospital and the USC Keck Institute!
