I had my gallbladder removed. It went fine, apparently, but my belly button was pretty much sewn shut. I went to 2 follow ups (with his PA - nvr saw him other than surgery day) and was told it would open back up, that it was just due to the stitches that hadn't dissolved yet & some minor swelling. It has not & now I've got a deep pinhole for a navel. Impossible to keep clean! You ever just get the feeling things were rushed ? I get that feeling. Dr. Kane is the best , takes his time and explains everything easy to talk to . Friendly and very knowedgeable all my surgical needs I'll go to him , and I live 2 hours away !!
I had to have a simple procedure with Dr. Kane and he was SO nice and made me feel very comfortable. He talked with me before hand and reassured me it will be quick & painless. LOL His office is super accessible and communicative. I am having a more extensive procedure with Dr. Kane soon and I am so glad he is my surgeon. I feel very comfortable with his care. During my first visit, he literally sat and listened to my actual LIST of questions. EXCELLENT bedside manner, TERRIFIC doctor!
