Dr. James Isbell is a top-notch oncologist and surgeon. Today is World Lung Cancer Day and I would be remiss if I didn't thank one of the very best doctors at MSK. My daughter underwent surgery last December and it was an extremely scary and upsetting time, needless to say. Dr. Isbell is not only knowledgeable in his field, but he's a kind, gentle and compassionate man. He and his team always take the time to "talk us off the ledge" when we're in full on fear mode. Dr. James Isbell did what was considered to some doctors the impossible. He removed a lemon sized tumor from my thymus gland. So grateful to have him save my life and I owe this man the 🌎.
