He is an amazing Neurologist who listens to you and so patiently and works with to find solutions. I love him so well I came to his Office hardly with balance and today I am walking 4.5 miles a day with 5 lbs weights though still dealing with Migraines but on my way … Thank You Dr James Kerrigan from Your South African Patient.
I asked "what current research studies hold the most hope of treatment or cure?" The response was "I have no idea." The most important characteristic for a doctor is to remain current in his/her specialty. I don't want just medicine pushed at me. I want my specialist to know about current research and opportunities for me to contribute to studies seeking people with PD to move treatment and cure forward. Completely disappointed with my care.
Been seeing Dr Kerrigan for a couple of years now. He's always on time, listens and addresses my concerns and for the first time in 27 years I am migraine free!
