I was suffering with an excruciating headache in October, 2024. I was taken to the ER in Livingston, NJ where I met Dr. Liu. Dr. Liu ordered an MRI which revealed that I had a tumor on my pituitary gland so I was admitted to the hospital and underwent the procedure to remove it 2 days later, on an emergency basis. I was diagnosed with a carotid body paraganglioma in December 2024. Via a Facebook group, I came across Dr. Liu. I scheduled a consultation with him in January, consulted with another surgeon also in January, and spoke with 3 other oncologists before deciding that Dr. Liu was the most knowledgeable to remove my tumor.
