We absolutely loved spending the week of 4th of July at James Island County Park. We tent camped (it was HOT), but we had fans made it work. The park was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We loved the water park and splash zone. It was a great way to beat the heat. The dog park is huge and they always have different events going on. I only wish we lived closer!
James Island State Park offers so much from the water park to the splash pad to the parks itself in the campground areas. I definitely recommend and we will be back next summer. We went for the water park and had a great time come early because all the chairs are taken up very quickly. We had to get a locker which was not a problem. Lockers are $5, so pretty affordable.
Well managed and supervised. Lazy river, snacks, wheelchair accessible. So much fun for kids. Tons of seating. Lazy river is awesome!
