Park is great, staff is great and sites are large and spacious. The only reason for 1 star is when i left park I hit a low limb with my fifth wheel and damaged it. A friend of mine, on same day, hit same limb with motorhome. Looks like SCDOT would make Riverland Drive meet minimum height requirements. Camp Road is worse NOT SAFE, BE WARNED if you have a fifth wheel.
What an awful place for those that like nature and fishing. Seems like all they really want here are, water park people and the Christmas lights visitors. One pond in particular USED to really produce massive bass. Now it seems like that pond was poisoned to remove all aquatic vegetation. The fish kill that occured here was sickening. Now there doesn't seem to be any fish life in it at all. Places I used to fish 3 to 4 years ago are now littered with no fishing signs. 100% won't be back.
