Great splash pad / park / water park - really cool for elementary age kids

Excellent family camping. Plenty for kids to do, great walking trails, very friendly staff and just an overall very good camping experience.
I go here every day to walk the trails. Sometimes I fish at the dock in the marsh. It’s salt water from Atlantic Ocean. Wonderful! If you go often get an annual pass at the main office. $65/year is a great bargain and good at all Charleston County parks. At James Island a free for the young kids splash area or buy entrance to water park. Watch for alligators near fresh water pond.
