Got the lobster roll with butter and it was honestly amazing. The lobster was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor, and the butter made it even better. The bread was perfectly toasted and held everything together without being too heavy. Simple, fresh, and exactly what you want from a good lobster roll. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in Boston.

Great lobster rolls !!! No wonder they have been in business for more that a 100 years!!
We stopped by James Hook & Co. during our visit to try their butter lobster roll. They also serve a cold version with mayo, but we opted for the warm buttered roll instead. We appreciated having both indoor seating and additional heated outdoor seating, which definitely comes in handy, especially on cooler days.
