I went to Community Family Medicine for a physical and told the doctor I was having leg pain. The doctor just like confused and said he didn't know what it could be. I went to another doctor and found out that I was pre-diabetic and having symptoms of diabetes. I went to Community Family Medicine again a few months ago with chest pain and was told by Dr Holt that I had an anxiety attack. I tried to tell him it wasn't but that's what they diagnosed me with. very rude and unfriendly, the midwife i know have makes me dread every appointment, there is no compassion or warmth to her i will be switching midwifes immediately! very unsatisfied.
Dr. Cates is one of a kind, never have I had a Dr. who read my hospital report before my appointment and had questions about me. She is the first Dr. I have been to who really cares and she will be my DR. for the rest of my life.
Dr Daphne Cates... Should have left my old primary drs along time ago..she was just so precious and very caring i was so impressed when i went today...i cannot express enough ....what an awesome move i made... thank you so much Dr Cates for seeing me today :))
Leaving Pinehurst Medical to come to Community Family Medicine has made me so much happier and life is a lot less stressful. I did not know what to expect at CFM. I think God knew exactly where I needed to be. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cates. I left there feeling like I found a doctor who actually cares. She is wonderful. Absolutely the least helpful and unfriendly women's health center in Sanford!
After years of going to this place and my appointment this week, im done. I am switching providers in the middle of a pregnancy. After having long a long wait (being the first appt), dealing with being double booked(even though I was supposed to be first) and a sonographer being so rude because she felt rushed, a doctor who seemed to be bothered to do my check up, I'm done. This is after my last appointment where it took 2 1/2 hours to do my initial sonogram. This is the first review I've ever written. The only shining light... read more
I found the staff and physicians to be very professional. All are very friendly and go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant experience. I have been a patient for many years!
During my pregnancy with each of my three children, I was seen at Carolina Women's Center. The quality of care is outstanding. Dr. Jennifer Delaney took excellent care of me during my nine months of care. Having a baby is such an exciting and nervous time. What a difference it makes to have a physician that takes time to care about you not only as a patient but as a person.
