Unethical, Greedy, and Predatory. You learn everything you need to know about a business by how they treat the local community. Look no further than the EV charger on site at James Hodge Chevrolet. A standard, profitable DC fast charger typically costs drivers around $0.40 per kWh. James Hodge Chevrolet charges $3.00 per kWh—nearly 10 times the market rate—for electricity they likely offset through corporate or state programs. Unethical. Greedy and Money hungry. You can tell A LOT by how a place of business is ran by the way that they engage with the community. There's an EV fast charger on site. A profitable charger will charge the customers roughly 40 cents per kilowatt hour delivered, at lighting fast speed. James Hodge Chevrolet charges THREE dollars per kilowatt hour......and speeds so slow that a Nissan Leaf from 2015 can acquire faster speeds.
