Performed surgery on me that changed my life. Did Green Light laser on my prostate and I was back at work in 48 hours and feeling fantastic. Explained everything ahead of surgery and met with me later post surgery to answer my questions. The office did their best to get me handled before my son's wedding. Has a knowledgable and caring staff (PA, nurses, schedulers, etc.). I am confused about other reviews that don't like his bedside manner. I found him to be friendly. I am grateful for his expertise.
Had none of the CT scan results or imaging. Accused me of lying, does not listen, walks out on you within a minute or two. Avoid him at all cost. Read his reviews. See for yourself
my son was seeing him for just a few years before I finally found a new urologist to replace him. I even knew someone who worked in his office for years and she agreed that he was a complete ahole. and considering my son was special needs, this man was still an idiot to me in regards to not even giving test results over the phone when we were having a blizzard and he insisted we come into his office. That was when he was on the east side of Elgin and much harder for me to get to his place.
Felt rushed, condescended to, and not heard. Won't go back. Nursing staff and NP were much better -- friendly, helpful, not rushed.
I have been dealing with him for several years and an excellent friendly and compassionate personal treatment excellent dr.

He is the worst doctor I have ever met in my life! He will not spend more than 1 minute with you and he will make you feel uncomfortable if you ask him questions.
After a accident and a ruptured testicle I went to see the doctor. I never felt like anything was being sugar coated. He was very upfront and honest about every detail. He kept me informed. Even after surgery he came to check on me in more then a professional manner. The most important thing to me is even when things got serious he made me laugh. At the end of the day, when you are going through a life altering surgery it is important to have a doctor that make you feel confident and safe.
Dr. Griffin has gone the extra mile more than once to provide me and my family members first class service . I highly recommend Dr. Griffin. In this day in age, it is rare to find a Doctor like this. Great service, and he truly cares about his patients.
