This "doctor" needs to be referred to as the "Bellingham Butcher." His bedside manner is terrible, yes, but his skill and craftsmanship is nothing less than crippling to those who go under his knife. Absolutely abysmal. Do not trust this man. Had to seek corrections with another(more skilled) surgeon to correct Blackburn's atrocious work. Seriously, do not go here.

Dr. Blackburn was caring and fixed the my left hand. He answered my questions; he predicted I would be back to have my other hand done and sure enuff, 2 years later I am going back. Staff was very helpful. Very proffesional.

Like Alisa, I am also a nurse & have osteoarthritis in my thumb. This physician was as uncaring, & uncommunicative as a bag of rocks. My visit with him took, 3 minutes tops. No exam, no discussions, explanations, nothing- just literally- a shrug of his shoulders. Although it might be true that there is not much to do with OA in a finger, how about doing even a preliminary exam? Explaining the options? Something? This is not a guy I would ever see or recommend to anyone.
