The staff was so great. Every single person would trying their hardest. They made me feel welcome and way better about my surgery. Then Dr. James g. McDowell Jr came in. First time I'd seen Dr. McDowell. My Dr. Goldberg referred me to him because my hospital couldn't do the surgery. Dr. McDowell made me feel way better. He is such a pleasant person. I really do want to thank the staff and the doctor for my nice experience.
Dr. McDowell is an awesome dr. He's very kind and friendly. Has a great bedside manner. Listens to what your saying. I drive about an 1 hr or more to get to his office in Springfield and it's worth it.
Dr McDowell was amazing to me the whole time. He listened to everything I had to say. He did just what we talked about. I was having issues with aspiration pneumonia and had to have a revision surgery from the sleeve to bypass. And he was amazing from the first visits to surgery. He came in the room after surgery and sat down on the bed and talked to me person to person. He is a very good man. But an even greater doctor. I highly recommend him.
