Dr. Bass laughed at me and made a joke when I complained that I was throwing up so much my throat was bleeding during my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and he led me to believe this was normal. He also performed a very invasive, very personal “exam” during my c-section checkup that I later found out was not normal. Cups of urine were left with names exposed in the bathroom. Please do not see this doctor.

Run, don’t walk, away from this doctor. His exams are rough, his “office manners” are horrible. Definitely not what an older woman needs from an ob/gyn. He is a non-smiling, zero sense of humor, dictator, that lectures the person until they cry. “Understanding” is not in his repertoire.

I chose Dr. Bass when I was only 17 years old so didn’t know better at the time. I’ve been complaining about irregular menstrual cycle, severe cramps, acne, and chronic illness since my first cycle. I went to Dr. Bass for the last time in October of 2023 (I’m now 27 years old) and again addressed these concerns. I was AGAIN dismissed and was told I was just “underweight” (I’m not, I have a healthy BMI) and that he wouldn’t run any tests or check my hormones.
