In 2015, I was a U.S. Border Patrol employee in my mid-sixties. Following a mild transient ischemic attack, my situation worsened and I was directed to cardiology at Yuma Regional. The following day, I was in the capable hands of Dr. Moon. He performed a five vessel bypass that many say saved my life. Dr Moon performed bypass surgery on me. Dr Moon is as professional and highly capable heart surgeon one could ever hope to have treat him/her. I was afraid that Yuma wouldn’t have such a great heart surgeon, but I am 100% satisfied with Dr Moon and the care that he has provided me.
I was for some ten years a senior medical administrator of Yuma Regional Hospital and had many direct and indirect interactions with Dr Moon. He is a first class cardiothoracic surgeon and an equally impressive person, worthy of absolute trust in both arenas.
Dr. Moon is a fantastic surgeon. He did my husband's CABG in 2004 and it's still going strong. He did mine In March of 2021 and I am recovering quickly with no significant pain.
I am a 77 year old male. Quintuple Bypass surgery in 2014. Exceptional care!! Minimal post-surgery pain. at the five-year pot surgery point, my cardiologist says all grafts are healthy, blood flow is excellent, and to go "enjoy life". Living an active, healthy life, thanks to Dr Moon.
There is not enough space on this comment section to describe Dr. Moon and his team. I have worked in several hospitals over a 32 year career. After speaking to multiple nurses and other doctors I found the professional staff at YRMC to be 100% behind Dr. Moon. I agree. If I ever need heart work again I am coming to Yuma from wherever in the solar system I might be. I hope he lives a long life and continues to offer amazing care. He is a star!
There aren't many choices in a small town, this office is sadly one of the only routes. Dr Moon's office abruptly lost their other Dr, and the way they handled it was awful. I do have to give Moon credit for admitting he was unqualified to help me, sending me to Phoenix. I am grateful for his honesty, it saved my life. It saddens me that it had to come to that. Leaving town to get the aid I needed.
