Dr Fenwick did a full left knee replacement and I was home the same day. He is an absolutely awesome surgeon and person.Waited until I was ready for surgery which I should have had done 3 years sooner
Make sure you’re prepared to have no chit chat or a full conversation. I scheduled a full knee replacement due to rheumatoid arthritis in December. However in February I injured that knee and it was a mess. I was seeing a different orthopedic in the practice before seeing him for the surgery consult they couldn’t get him to look at my MRI results to discuss treatment except to say stay off my leg until surgery the end of May. I was in so much pain and was really upset that I was going to have to wait until the end of May. So... read more
Dr. Fenwick is usually on time for his appointments. He performed a total hip on me 2 years ago, & I have had no troubles. I have even climbed some ladders much to my husband’s dismay (I am 69 yr. old)! Will be getting the other hip done in May. He has excellent surgical skills & outcomes.
Dr. Fenwick was very rude and dismissive. I would never recommend him to anyone. He seems to lack an empathy chip. and did not listen or show any concern for my situation. My husband had surgery with another doctor in the practice and had a wonderful experience but agreed he is nothing like Dr. Fenwick. I would suggest you look at other options.
I recently had a knee replacement done by Dr Fenwick. The outcome was excellent. Prior to surgery, he carefully answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He has a very capable surgical coordinator who quickly responded to several phone calls before and after surgery. Not as impressed with his PA, but that seems to be the wave of the future with a busy drs office—not incapable, just a bit flippant. As I recently moved into this area, I am pleased to have found such a capable doctor.
Dr. Fenwick came into my case late in the game and he was able to get me back on my feet. He gave me hope. His professionalism and compassion spoke volumes to me and I am glad we moved into the Hanover area and found a doctor such as Dr. Fenwick.
Dr. Fenwick was very professional and curtious. He answered all of my questions and was very detailed about my conditon and the treatment he recommended. He calmed my fears and made me feel much better concerning my up coming surgery.
My first experience was an unpleasant one as I found Dr. Fenwick to be impatient, insensitive, controlling, judgmental, narrow-minded, rude, immature, mean, and arrogant. My guess, the positive reviews are the result of encounters with him when he was "captain of the ship" and "educating" the patient rather than an encounter with a patient with a complex medical history, struggling to cope with injury-related hardships, suffering emotional trauma, acute & chronic pain. I cried my way home.
Worst experience I've ever had with a physician. No compassion, lacked empathy. Also did not follow through on my visit. Very rude. I have a medical background and have dealt with many physicians personally & professionally, and he is by far the worst.
