I was very unhappy about how he handled a situation at my 6-week postpartum check-up after having my baby girl. Despite my clear instructions that I did not want to be put on birth control, he continued to press the issue while I was undressed and waiting for the examination. He wouldn’t accept my answer no for it but I used my voice and wouldn’t agree with him. Dr. Estes delivered my son two years ago after my care was transferred from the hospital nurse midwives. I was apprehensive about having an obgyn, because my first two babies many years ago were delivered by nurse midwives. He was very nice, kind, personable, answered all of my questions and understood my concerns, and I had a few complications that he handled extremely well. Overall this was my best birth experience, and I cannot recommend him enough. He is a wonderful and skilled doctor.
