I had arthroscopic surgery to repair torn meniscus in knee. He was rude and arrogant. Refused to write me up for rehabilitation. This was a workman’s comp claim. Avoid him
From start to finish with my now-replaced arthritic shoulder this was a first class experience. Dr. Carpenter and his staff know what they are doing and do it well. They were flexible and understanding of my needs and questions. Total pros. No attitude, just friendly competence. Best of all...the pain is gone!
I had an appointment with Dr. Carpenter this past Wednesday. I was late because of horrible US-23 traffic, but was still able to meet with him. He was the third Orthopedic surgeon I had seen regarding a large rotator cuff tear and was by far the most helpful and impressive. He spent more time with me than the other surgeons and very patiently answered my myriad questions. This doctor made me cry. I explained my pain to him and how I could not do activities I previously enjoyed and he pretty much said “yep, that’s life”. He dismissed my emotions and my concerns. Seems mostly about money and ego for him. I encourage you to find a different doctor with more humility and compassion.
Didn’t seem to want to listen. Was fairly rude and everything felt rushed. I would not recommend him.
Pain was not taken seriously. Bad bedside manner.
Amazing doctor, explains treatments and conditions very well. I highly recommend him for any and all sports or orthopedic injuries and illnesses.
I had right shoulder pain since high school football. Several injuries over the years made it worse with weakness and severe pain. Five years ago Dr Carpenter did and orthoscopic procedure and my right shoulder has been great since. For the last five years I have been able to swim and work out without right shoulder pain.
