I was recently in Castle for issues with a gallbladder. I had to have Dr. Panetta resolve other issues prior to gallbladder removal. During that process, you see what kind of human being Dr Panetta is. I developed pancreatitis after his procedure, despite being on vacation Dr. Panetta came in several times to check on me and was also in constant communication with my nurses. I am very appreciative of his care and compassion. Michael McElhinney
I don’t understand the negative reviews here. I’ve only had great experiences with Dr. Panetta - have had several appointments with him and one invasive procedure. He’s excellent and highly recommend. Way better than any GI Doctor I’ve seen before (been seeing them for 10+ years).
Terrible experience with this GI (gastrointestinal) doctor & office specifically. However, the rest of the Adventist Castle departments I've had great experiences with! So don't lose hope. If you do need a new GI doctor in the Adventist Castle system, you can have them refer you to Dr. Kerian Dodds, MD in the Kaneohe location. I have been seeing her for a few months now, and she is a huge improvement from Dr. Panetta, who was always impatient, hard to get a hold of, dismissive, uninformed, and wrong.
