My husband has a hernia, which has already been confirmed by another physician. It is painful and over the counter pain meds are not providing any relief. Dr Givens also confirmed the hernia but because my husband has had prior hernia repair surgery in the same general area 20+ years ago, Dr Givens ordered a CT scan to determine if this hernia was a part of that old repair or new.
