Food is good..Love their tamale pie
Great service especially the sweet sweet young lady who helped us today! Lexie! Food was great and hot if you ever need a quick bite in this side of town it’s worth the time! Also just FYI they have great draught beer options
I have never been so disappointed with what has happened to James Coney Island. I can't believe that anyone who ate at these places back in the early 70's would say they are great today, when you ordered a hot dog then from JCI you would open the box or get your plate and they would be smothered in chili, cheese and onions with the buns steamed like the dogs. Ate lunch at the 1960 Location today and was disappointed with the hot dogs. They were different, had a grilled flavor which is ok, but not was I was expecting. I was looking forward to the original version. Don’t know if it was a different hot dog or a different cooking method but it was certainly not the same. Disappointing.
