The technician called when he was on his way and arrived and inspected our fireplace. What we thought was a gas fireplace turned out to be a real wood burning one and he helped remove the fake wood logs, showed my wife and I how to operate it and plugged up a hole around the gas pipe that could possibly cause a fire if flame embers got behind the wall.
