Total knee replacement last month is my third experience with Dr. Boyd and his staff. My first was after a fall from a cliff when I landed primarily on my right shoulder and side. My shoulder was so damaged and swollen that he had to wait two months to repair the damage - which was so bad that he had to ‘redesign’ where muscle could be attached. Family member went to the emergency room and Dr Boyd was the one who did the surgical consult. He was kind and clear about the needed treatment. Referral to a colleague for the surgery. It was a complex injury and parts needed to be ordered. Surgery day came things went smoothly in the operating room. Recovery is still in progress and going smoothly. Very grateful for this surgical team!!!
He was very attentive and answered all my questions. He was very nice in pre op and before surgery began (from what I remember). I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic surgery or doctor visits. My new shoulder is sore but I can already tell that it’s working better than my old shoulder.
Thank you, Dr Boyd, and the entire Sonora Adventist staff for treating my broken leg (tibia, fibula) with such compassion, expertise, and expediency. Coming from Torrance, we were a bit concerned undergoing emergency surgery far from home, at a "small" hospital ... but everyone surpassed our expectations.
