This is my favorite park in Charlotte for walking. There are so many beautifully hidden paths and trails that makes you feel like you are deep in the woods. A very nice access to McAlpine Green Way.
Great suburban hiking experience. A bit easy to get lost, but that makes hiking here feel a lot more remote than it actually is.
Nice walking trails
Safe parking to access fields and trails. Clean bathrooms. This is a favorite trailhead for the McAlpine Greenway. Like this Park because it provides access to the paved trail and the gravel more remote trail. Great for biking, dog walking, kids…
