My son had a MRI done, (ordered by his Neurologist), and the Neurologist was not comfortable with the findings or knew if it had any clinical significance of what was going on with him so referred us to this practice to have a Neurosurgeon pull the images and review the findings with us. Well, they denied us care and refused to review the images and findings in a consultation as they said it is not "surgical" and they were not the ones who ordered the MRI. We transfered from Tampa to Orlando to see Dr. Baumgartner and have him preform my sons laser oblation. Dr. B was honest with us and took the time to answer each and every question we could come up with and went over all options and future outcomes. I would highly recommend his opinions and surgical services.
Highly knowledgeable and supportive surgeon. He has done 3 of my brain surgeries and I would recommend him to anyone.
The absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. He discouraged me from seeking further treatment and downplayed what was happening to me. Had I listened to him, my condition would have only become worse and worse, and I never would have gotten the help I desperately needed. Avoid this obnoxious, arrogant doctor.
This man is amazing, very knowledgeable, caring, and he took his time to explain things and he was on top on my sons care
