It's hard for me to write a poor review for anyone. See my review history - it's only complimentary until now. However, this was an awful experience. This operator is rude, confrontational, and dishonest in my opinion. He tried to scare me and upsell, and did the same thing to my tenants, who he bulled into getting involved by insisting on their contact information in an attempt to bill them. James Ball Chimney guys were AWESOME!! I’ve dealt with a lot of service professionals recently and they were by far the best! They were friendly, considerate (they put on booties immediately upon entering my home), informative, and extremely knowledgeable. I was very impressed. Also, my house is already warmer and less drafty from the new damper they installed!

Called James during such a busy time for help with a damper off the track. He had me send pictures and talked me through putting it back on the track myself and then offered a home visit. I was able to do this myself, buying a little time before needing to replace or find a different option. It has so helpful to have him take the time, send pictures back, and getting on the phone to help me out. Really appreciate the service and support, and will use them for future chimney needs!
Five stars for sure. We just moved into our condo and had a quick turn around for the biannual chimney inspection. The J Ball crew was out first thing the next morning. Rich and Charles were on time, super efficient, friendly and professional. Explained what we might need to do in the future but didn't push us to pay anything additional or buy more than we needed. From my initial phone call to the follow-up email confirming our payment it was a great experience. Thanks guys!!
