My long term Dr. retired several years ago and I found Dr. Blake Long. I suffer with a chronic condition, and he's been more attentive and knowledgeable than my neurologist. He listens carefully, and he treats me based on my feedback. I feel so fortunate to have him as my health care provider.
So my health insurance assigned me to a Dr.Long as my PCP. I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment as I have ran out of my medicine! I haven’t had a call back so I decided to call them! Unbeknownst to me I find he doesn’t/ isn’t taking any new patients! Reading his information one would be believed that he was a very caring and knowledgeable doctor! Where are the true doctors?
Both my husband and I see Dr. Long, and we have no complaints. He's easy to communicate with and we're very satisfied with the care we've received.
Poor customer service. Care from the doctor seems adequate. If you need anything sent out from the office prepare to wait, and wait, and wait. Contacting them only makes it worse. Customer service skills need vast improvement. Very disappointing and a poor representation of the medical community.
