The bus boys were better than the wait staff and the kitchen could not handle the volume. We sat around 730 for a 7p reservation and didn’t eat until 9p. Food was not well cooked either. Unfortunate as the place has potential.
What a great night celebrating my birthday dinner at James and Main! Eric and Danny were extremely kind and patient when I was planning this fun night out with friends. The staff was incredibly sweet and the food was absolutely delish! Our outside table was perfect on such a beautiful night and the acoustic guitar player added to a really perfect night!

We live in the area, we are east rockaway locals for years and we were so excited to see a new restaurant come to town. We have tried J&M several times now and I have to say it disappoints more than satisfies. The food is never consistent, something is always off about the food. I want to like it then I go give it another try and again disappointed. I will not be dropping $200 on mediocre food anymore. And for the love of God get different bar seats that don't cut into the back of your knees!
The food was very delicious and the staff was outstanding .
