My Stepfather received a quadrupple bypass and Aortic Valve replacement. Dr. Day I assume performed the surgery well. This review is pertaining to his post op care and lack of bedside manner. He told my stepdad to “Sssh, stop talking”, has ignored his questions, and been very short with him while he was in Baptist on 9B. My father went in for a triple bypass, Dr. Day was his Surgeon. After my father's surgery Dr. Day came out and told us he was doing very well but instead of the 3 he needed 7 to be done. He answered all questions for us and after only 5 day's my 67yr old father was released from the hospital and is home currently RECOVERING. Thank you so much Dr. Day and staff for literally saving my father's life.

Dr. James Day performed aortic valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery on my 84 y/o father. My father had an amazing recovery with excellent inpatient care by Dr. Day as well as follow-up since. Dr. Day has great bedside manner and was very attentive to both my fathers concerns and the family's concerns also. He also has a terrific nurse practioner who has been very helpful also.
