Dr Pilla completed my colonoscopy, his bedside maner was great, he was attentive to all my concerns and replied back with questions on my results. My only complaint was the wait time to get an appointment, which is out of his hands. I would definitely recommend Dr Pilla.
The results of the colonoscopy were labeled “mild” by Dr. Pilla. Within a month I was in the ER twice and had to have an emergency surgery to save my life all before he even had time to meet with me for a follow up. Also I mentioned I was breastfeeding several times yet they put me on steroids for weeks that they said were safe for me and my breastfed baby. Gladly minimized my pain and had zero curiosity to dive deeper into anything other than acid reflux. I tried to explain that my esophagus flare ups keep me from working, and his response was “acid reflux shouldn’t keep you from working.” Yet, I told him I’m unable to work when I have a flare up since the pain is so awful … So acid reflux discomfort shouldn’t keep me away from work, but it’s definitely not anything other than acid reflux … make it make sense.
