Having been a patient for a number of years, I found this annual visit different - an entirely different atmosphere. Not as patient oriented. Starting at the front desk, I was asked 6 times over the course of my visit if I was going to get a new prescription, which cost $50. Since the reason for my visit was exactly that - to see IF I need a new prescription and the health of my eyes, I found that approach unsettling.
