I previously had a vitrectomy in Florida on my left eye. All went great. After arriving home in WV, I realized that I possibly had a whole in the left eye retina. Dr Jamerson confirmed and said he had a 99% success rate. I asked what type of gas he would use and he said the short acting (dissolves in 2-3 weeks). Started seeing Dr Jamerson in June 2024. 'Tough love'. Came to him with dx of Diabetic retinopathy. Honest and upfront. Doesn't sugarcoat anything which i appreciate about him.
The doctor refused to see me because my blood pressure was elevated at the time of appointment. I understand some tests or surgery might be affected by hypertension, but this was my first visit. I would have liked to at least merit a couple minutes to ask a few questions about my eyes or would have hoped he would have a few questions
I was referred by my VA Doctor I give Dr Scott Jamerson five stars outstanding Doctor..
I have been seeing Dr. Jamerson for over a year. I had lost sight in one eye all at once. He has restored my sight almost to perfect. I still see him and I admire his honesty and each time I get a shot he tells me each move . I appreciate him and trust him. He and his staff make me feel at ease.
I find that Dr. Jamerson care very much about the eye health of his pts. Explains treatment options to where people can understand.
