Bought Jamel furniture just over 10 years ago. It was sold as solid Tasmanian Oak ( which I understand is a collective name for about 6 eucalypt species from the east coast). In recent years I have noticed the edge of the table has some lifting. Upon further investigation I found that all my furniture is covered in paper thin laminate. I’m not sure exactly what is under the laminate as I don’t want to lift it any further. Jamel was unresponsive when contacted.
