Food was horrible. I ordered a vada pav, papdi chaat, and mango lassi. They gave me a mango lassi that was spoiled. The vada pav was too hard to eat, and the papdi chaat was actually bhel puri. There wasn’t any yogurt or chana in the “papdi chaat”. If you want authentic Indian food, just make your drive to Schaumburg or anywhere else for that matter.
I come to Crystal Lake once a year, and make it a point to go to Jalsa at least once (preferably more) while I'm in the US. My neck of the woods (southwestern Ontario, Canada) has a lot of truly authentic Indian restaurants, and Jalsa can stand shoulder to shoulder with any of them. Great food and solid service, every time. Highly recommended!
Great Indian food, had a delicious meal.
I order food from this restaurant it had really good reviews and I wanted to try so I went online and made sure they where opened and placed my order and went to the restaurant to find it lock and no sign of any workers and they have a sign on the door that says it open. If you want to eat at this place maybe call before you order so you don’t have to deal with customers support to get my money back.
