This man was very helpful. My car wouldn't pass emissions and he was right up front telling me it would be $1000 or more to repair. He had originally told me it would be $50 to diagnose the car. When I picked up my car and he had to give me the bad news, he only charged me half of that. He even broke it down so we could do enough to get a waiver for this year and then I would have at least another year to repair the rest in order to pass - if I chose to do so.
YES!!!!! This guy has the right mindset. He is honest, forthright and very good at what he does. If he tells you the car will be ready at 4 O'clock, you can bet it WILL be ready at 4O'clock or Jose will call you to let you know why it isn't ready. All work is explained 100% and cost is givenr before the work is begun. The quality of the work is great, too. If you're looking for a good, honest mechanic for your auto repair needs, Jalisco Auto is the place in Hammond, Indiana, people!
