ZERO BEDSIDE MANNER WHEN DELIVERING A BABY. She is not good for delivering maybe just for regular care. She always seems annoyed & will roll her eyes at your pain. PLEASE DONT GO TO HER!
When I moved to Mississippi, I was very intentional about choosing Black doctors, especially an OB/GYN. I have been seeing Dr. Grant for approximately 5 years now, and I have always received top tier care from her and all of her staff (shout out to the administrative staff!). I never feel as if my appointments are rushed, and she listens to and answers questions thoughtfully. I truly appreciate her work and will be a patient for life.
A few months ago my insurance at work changed and I was so excited that I can switch to a new gynecologist. I was especially excited to visit with someone who looked familiar. I booked my appointment last year towards the end of 2023. All they had available was for March 2024 to get in for a visit with Ja'Larna. So reluctantly although I had to wait so long, I took it. Dr.Grant is top tier. She listens to her patients and her bedside manor is excellent. There is NEVER a long wait in the office. The staff is impeccable. My current insurance seach is dependent on Dr. Grant office is accepting. That is just how great she is.
Dr. Grant delivered two of my children and provided pre and postnatal care during and after the pregnancies, as well as a circumcision. She is a young, enthusiastic and highly skilled OBGYN adored by her nurses and staff, and holds her board-certification. Dr. Grant has chosen to remain in her home State of Mississippi to share her talents with the Delta and North Mississippi.
