I used Jakpot Tax Services to complete my 2025 taxes. It was not a smooth process, and was surprised by the estimate provided (weeks after beginning the process). Towards the end, my name was not correctly populated in my tax documents and per Jakpot, I was going to receive a $1000 return from the City of Grand Rapids. Turns out I actually owed $400 because Jakpot did not file my taxes correctly, and I was charged a penalty with interest because Jakpot had not filed my taxes correctly.
