In May 2025, I nominated my mother, for Jake's Top Notch Tree Service Mother's Day giveaway. She was one of four of the mothers publicly selected to receive tree work. I provided the requested information and waited for the work to be completed. I understand that paid customers come first, but when you publicly choose someone for a Mother's Day giveaway, I believe you should follow through. I nominated my mother to do something special for her, and instead I was left feeling like I let her down.

I’m giving this company one star solely due to the poor communication throughout the process. I first reached out via their website in May and had a few initial exchanges, but then the communication abruptly stopped. I tried again in August after a recommendation from my wife’s coworkers. About a week later, I received an email saying someone would be coming out that same day to provide a quote for removing four trees. Unfortunately, I wasn’t available on such short notice.
