Went there today, still closed, anyone have an update on if it's going to reopen? I love this place and have gone there for years, I still want the antique commode on the top shelf on the right side of the shop!

In the 90's I used Jake's all the time. Now I live more than a thousand miles away, but when I need something odd, or need to have a part identified: Jake's is still my resource. Chris knows his stuff. I'm writing this today because I had to look Jake's up to refer them to a friend.

This place is definitely still open and a great place to go for plumbing parts. Kris Keeler, the proprietor, is there from noon to 5pm, Mondays through Thursdays. He's an experienced, knowledgeable guy who's happy to help you make sure you get the parts you need. Reasonable prices; great service. Parking is a little limited, but I can live with that! Worth a trip - particularly if you have an older fixture that you'd rather repair than replace.

i had an issue with an inspector on my house when we were trying to turn it into a rental. had to have a plumber come out to give a quote. the guy wanted $500 to cut a 3inch pvc pipe and put a vent on it. so i went to jakes where i was tolled what i needed to do the job myself and that i should go to hd to get the parts because it would only be $30 from them. the guy turned down business and gave me the info i needed to get the job done. not that i do a lot of plumbing but jakes is my first stop when i do..
