Got a deal from http://restaurant.com for 15$ off. went here and upon arriving told the server that i had purchased a 15$ off from http://restaurant.com and would be using my phone to validate certificate(http://restaurant.com in their rules allows all restaurants to do this. the server told me that they COULD do this. after eating the owner of the restaurant walked in and informed us that they could not take the deal over my phone(even though this is a rule of http://restaurant.com), So i had to pay full price for a restaur... read more

What a DUMP! The steaks were tough and the server just said 'Sorry about that.' No offer to fix it or replace them - NOTHING. The drinks are watered down too. This place might have been nice back when Jake owned it, but it is a REAL DUMP now. Save your money. (The double reviews from Insider Guru and Insider Expert must be from Jakes insiders because they don't reflect the truth about this leather-steak-serving joint). Junkyard Dog Manager STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went in Wednesday night for a beer on my way home from work. I had two bills in my pocket, a $100 and a $50. I took out the $50, bought a bottle of IPA for $3.50, tipped the brunette bartender $1.50, stuffing the change into my pocket. I finished my beer and went home. As I emptied my pockets getting ready for bed, I discovered only a $100, a $10, and a $5 - she had given me change for a $20, not a $50! Great Service and Delicious Food – Stopped by with a couple of friends last night for a nightcap. What great service, the Clam Strip were tasty and the Drinks refreshing. :)
Great food and drinks Did I mention the desserts? The food is great and the wait staff is the best in town. After only going to Jakes twice, they staff already recognized me.
Best deserts Forget about Pappa Hayden, Jake's Bar and Grill has the best desserts in town. Everyone should try their upside down apple pie....it is to dream of!Karina
