Jakes is a great little bait and tackle! They just helped me pick out a new rod and reel, and the selection of Baits is impressive! Every time I go in there, I learned some new things about fishing and new techniques to try! Love this place!

Great store has a lot stuff a local fisher man needs for the Potomac If you struggle trying to find the right baits that match your natural bait fish an such head on to jakes bait and tackle he'll have every thing you need.
I'll be honest. When I heard about the shop I was a little skeptical. BUT, as soon as I rolled in the door the other day, I had found the best tackle shop since Family Fishin' closed down many years ago ! Tons of stuff that WORKS ! Not a lot of stuff to catch the FISHERMAN'S EYE, but stuff to CATCH FISH ! And prices better than ALL OF THE BOX STORES ! I will be back soon !
Absolutely the best fishing store I've walked into lots of great lures that you can't find any where else!
