Dr. Jake Dupree, MD, was hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. He took time to listen, genuinely cared, and always made you feel like more than just a chart or a time slot. Unfortunately, I truly believe Roper St. Francis failed him and failed the community in the process. They never gave him the support he deserved, placing him in one of the quietest, most out-of-the-way locations without a solid patient base to grow from. I recently retired and moved to Charleston, so I needed a new primary care physician. I was referred to Dr. Jake Dupree by another healthcare provider. I feel very fortunate to have become his patient- he is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One year later: I recently saw Dr. Dupree for my annual.
