It was an icy day in Milwaukee. I slipped and fell directly on one knee causing a patella fracture. My patella shattered into small pieces. It required immediate surgery the same day. I was afraid and didn't know what to expect. Prior to surgery, Dr. Jack Bauwens was very informative as well as made me feel comfortable. I had such a great experience and would highly recommend this practice to my friends and family. Dr Jake Bauwens greatly improved my quality of life by further correcting issues from a birth defect. I was genuinely surprised to have an answer - and he took the time to explain every step. That made me comfortable undergoing a two hour procedure.
