Dr. Jake Bauwens did my ACL reconstruction last year and everything went perfectly. He asked about my goals following surgery so he could pick the best graft type for me. Before the surgery, he clearly explained what to expect and made me feel comfortable. The first few weeks after my surgery, I was able to call anytime about questions and concerns I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Bauwens for those looking to return to sport at a high level
I saw Dr. Bauwens for multi directional instability / hypermobility in my shoulder that was not improving with physical therapy. He did a capsular shift surgery to repair / tighten my labrum. Dr. Bauwens was excellent throughout the process, surgery went great as did recovery. I am now 6 months post op and getting back to all the activities I love.
Dr. Jake Bauwens did a great job with repairing my shoulder and bicep that were severely damaged. He got straight to the point with my first visit and before my surgery he laid out all my options and possible outcomes. It was not your normal rotator cuff repair. I have full mobility and am very happy with the results.
I went to see Dr.Bauwens for a tear in my rotator cuff and bicep, he was very helpful and the surgery went great, I am 3 months out from surgery and My arm is almost back to full strength, Dr. Bauwens really seems to care and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I'm not new to orthopedic surgery as I've had a torn Achilles and 2 TKRs and out of all my experiences this procedure and recovery was the best of all of them. Thank you Dr. Bauwens...😄
Wasted my time, had made up his mind that he wouldn’t help me before I even stepped into the office. Could’ve been a phone call but then he couldn’t charge insurance. Don’t recommend.
