Dr. Jake Bauwens did a great job with repairing my shoulder and bicep that were severely damaged. He got straight to the point with my first visit and before my surgery he laid out all my options and possible outcomes. It was not your normal rotator cuff repair. I have full mobility and am very happy with the results.
I went to see Dr.Bauwens for a tear in my rotator cuff and bicep, he was very helpful and the surgery went great, I am 3 months out from surgery and My arm is almost back to full strength, Dr. Bauwens really seems to care and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I'm not new to orthopedic surgery as I've had a torn Achilles and 2 TKRs and out of all my experiences this procedure and recovery was the best of all of them. Thank you Dr. Bauwens...😄
Wasted my time, had made up his mind that he wouldn’t help me before I even stepped into the office. Could’ve been a phone call but then he couldn’t charge insurance. Don’t recommend.
I compete in high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, so having a stable, strong knee is important for my performance on the mats. I tore my LCL and had my surgery done by Dr. Jake Bauens. He clearly explained the injury and what needed to be done. The surgery went exactly as planned. Recovery has been on track, and the knee feels strong. He was straightforward and knew exactly what he was doing. For any athletes looking to get back to what they love, I would highly recommend Dr.Bauens.
