Dr. Jake Bauwens was incredibly professional and timely in his availability to perform a surgery that was needed from an out of state injury. He performed a patella tendon repair with a biological augment that had me back to activity only 9 weeks later. I credit this to his surgical skill and rehab protocol. I highly recommend Dr. Jake Bauwens to anyone that needs a sports medicine consultation.
Dr Jake Bauwens was true professional, on time for all appointments and listened to my concerns. My rotator cuff surgery went well and I'm happy to be back to moving w/o pain.
Dr. Jake Bauwens did my ACL reconstruction last year and everything went perfectly. He asked about my goals following surgery so he could pick the best graft type for me. Before the surgery, he clearly explained what to expect and made me feel comfortable. The first few weeks after my surgery, I was able to call anytime about questions and concerns I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Bauwens for those looking to return to sport at a high level
I saw Dr. Bauwens for multi directional instability / hypermobility in my shoulder that was not improving with physical therapy. He did a capsular shift surgery to repair / tighten my labrum. Dr. Bauwens was excellent throughout the process, surgery went great as did recovery. I am now 6 months post op and getting back to all the activities I love.
Dr. Jake Bauwens did a great job with repairing my shoulder and bicep that were severely damaged. He got straight to the point with my first visit and before my surgery he laid out all my options and possible outcomes. It was not your normal rotator cuff repair. I have full mobility and am very happy with the results.
