If you are looking for a good specialist please don't waste your time with Dr Castro. I was excited to find an endocrinologist to help me with my thyroid meds since the one I've been taking for 15 years is now discontinued in US. Dr Castro spend 15 minutes writing everything I mentioned, then disbelief my findings and needed to Google that info for another few more minutes to finally agree with me. Extremely unprofessional and rude office staff, starting with Melinda the office manager. Run the other way!
Dr Castro is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I love him, he's such a sweet man with an awesome bedside manner!!
This Doctor and his staff are just awful. They only take cash, and refuse to provide receipts for hsa submission. They charge twice as much as other endocrinologists in the same area and I've had 3 appointments there and never waited less than an hour, once 2 hours and 20 mintues while the staff and doctor went to lunch. On top of the outright horrible customer service, they refuse to have do referrals, fmla or disability paper work.
