I recently had gallbladder surgery at this hospital, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. We have seen many orthopedic doctors at children’s and Dr. McCoy is by far the worst we have ever seen. She brushed off every concern and was very cold and did not engage at all. I’m not sure how she is a doctor for children.
Had a deep cut on my toe that needed stitches. Doctor comes in, glances at it and tells me he'd like an xray of my toe to rule out break or foreign object in wound. I had zero pain in toe, no bruising, and able to move it. As for the presence of a foreign object, the wound is so huge that you can visibly see there is nothing in it. He refused to suture basically telling me that it would be too painstaking of a process for him. While this hospital is great for labs and radiology, etc., they nearly killed me after a stuttering TIA. Drs. Kerper and Devine, upon my discharge said that should I ever had stroke or semi-paralysis again, I should "wait two hours" before calling 911. This was because the neurologist there didn't really look at my MRI and told them that I did not have a TIA. They basically said my stuttering TIA, 7 little strokes in all during which I was paralyzed on the right side, was hysteria. I went to a female neurologist ASAP after d... read more
I am a diabetic with past heart triple bypass. I went to the ER for an excruciating pain in my right abdomen. After waiting 5 1/2 hours I asked the girl at the desk if it would be much longer. She informed me that they see people on a priority basis. . .. Really??? The people I saw walking in and out seemed like they went there rather than calling their dr. Absolutely the best. The staff is amazing. Everyone did their best to make me comfortable. A very positive atmosphere. A special thanks to Jessica, she went all out to make me comfortable while waiting for my procedure. Thank you.
Terrible wait time. Got here at 1 pm .. it is now 5 pm and still waiting. my mom has dementia and is crying. They have had no consideration for her. !!!!!
It all started when I went to Mexico to have serious dental surgery, a bone graft, sinus lift, removal of all my top teeth and the 8 posts put in for future dentures in 6 months. They dont prescribe pain management in Mexico and was told when I get back to see my regular doctor to prescribe me some . The negative reviews are appalling! We have to remember in mental health there are those people that just never get better, they don't follow their treatment plan or take their medication, they never get better because they don't want to get better and then blame others for their failure. Western Psyc was tremendous in helping my niece to get her stabilized then we followed instructions and took it from there. My niece is now works, just bought a home and is getting married.
