I highly recommend Jahann and Sons Persian Rugs. I’ve purchased multiple rugs here and they are extraordinary. The store itself is a little modest, but don’t let that get in the way; the selection and quality of rugs is amazing. My wife and I went to all the big furniture stores in Bethesda, Rockville, etc. and none of those places comes close to Jahann and Sons. Howard Ave. actually has more than one authentic rug store. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The owner is wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in the work. With 50 years in business, this is hands-down the best place for rugs.

We had a phenomenal experience purchasing a rug for our living room here. We tried two other local rug sellers and were disappointed in the quality of rugs offered (damaged rugs, too old, inflated prices). As soon as we walked into Jahann & Sons, we knew we were in for a different experience. Dear Jahann and Sons. OMG! You guys, there are NOT ENOUGH adjectives to describe the beauty of this rug! It completely grounded the living room and elevated it. It unified the ENTIRE space and even accented and enhanced the artwork on the walls. AND, the first thing people say is "what a lovely space and this rug is stunning." Sometimes, a room needs a new coat of paint, or WE need a new hair do, OR...We just need a new rug. Over the moon guys, you nailed it!
