$350 to clear codes and pretend it was a “vacuum leak” – picked the wrong guy to scam Kept going back to this shop trying to chase down persistent misfires on my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas. Every visit was the same: clear the codes, hand it back, tell me to drive it. I had a coolant leak (series of leaks) that I had 'fixed' twice at another shop. He was able to look at my car the same day and diagnose it. Then fixed it over two days for the part price and ~$200 labor. This should be your go to guy for jaguar repairs.
Had our Jag towed in on Wednesday, and it was out Friday. Jim pretty well diagnosed the issue from my description. He’s usually closed on Fridays, but opened up for me anyhow. Thanks, Jim!
I gave this guy permission to drive my car over the weekend and he test drove it and curb my tires and rims I have low profile tires and custom wheels and they were damage all to the fact that he curb them part too close to the curb and he’s not taking any responsibility I took the car there to have the engine light checked, and the engine light came on back on the same day that I picked it up and this is the same problem. I had it there a week ago for. I will not take it there a third time because I don’t I don’t trust him.
