My son was born with 3 rare heart defects. He needed 3 Surgeries to mend those defects. We had the first 2 surgeries ( the PA band and the Glenn) done at Cincinnati children's hospital under a different surgeon. We moved to Colorado 2 years ago and we were so nervous taking him to a new hospital and having the surgery done by a new surgeon. Dr. James Jaggers did my open heart surgery on September 27, 2001 when I was 8 days old at Duke, in Durham North Carolina I had an ASD, VSD, and a coarctation of my aorta, the latter of which he repaired, and he and his team are likely the only reason I’m alive and thriving at 21 years old.

you killed a girl due to pure negligence. someone with such carelessness and disregard should have never been able to continue to operate for the past 20 years. I hope you’ve thought about Jessica every single night since. she deserved better.
